On Saturday, June 9, 2007, Immersive Studios will produce three additional episodes of its Seven Voices™ Artist Series. This production will feature three distinctly different artists live on the No.7 soundstage. Each individual artist performance will be before a different audience and captured on HD-video and 5.1 Surround Sound.
First up with a 3:00 p.m. performance is Angie Stevens, an amazingly intimate and entertaining singer/songwriter from Denver. Proclaimed by Westword Magazine as Denver's Best Singer/Songwriter of 2006, Angie delivers a robust mix of high octane rockers and soul searching ballads with just a whiff of country airs. Angie will be performing both solo with acoustic guitar and with members of her band, bringing a potent concoction of life, love, longing and levity to the No.7 stage.
Next, with a 6:30 p.m. performance, is Jeff Finlin, a Fort Collins-based singer/songwriter by way of Nashville. Jeff delivers his captivating, winsomely winding stories through song and with a voice that just makes you want to pop a cold one on the veranda on a hot summer day while absent-mindedly analyzing the flight patterns of dragonflies buzzing around the garden flowers after a soothing rain. Playing both solo acoustic guitar and with his band, Jeff will take you to places you never been and gently drop you off wanting more.
If you’ve ever wondered what happens when a Buddhist monk irreverently picks up a guitar and reflects back at you the reality of being human in the world today, don’t miss the 10:00 p.m. show featuring Stuart Davis. Stuart’s frightful combination of absurdly creative songwriting, observational honesty, intellectual prowess and side-splitting humor ensures that you will never be quite the same again. Whatever conclusions you’ve embraced about life, the power of Stuart Davis on stage will change your mind – and you’ll love him for it.
A live performance in Immersive No.7 is a rare treat.
With no one sitting more than fifteen feet (15’) from the stage, the artist/audience intimacy is totally unique, further rendered so by Immersive’s studio quality live sound and actively-designed, computer-controlled stage lighting. Seating is limited to one-hundred (100) for each two hour performance and all seats are $10.00 per show. Because this is quite a large HD-DVD/Surround Sound production, all seats will be pre-sold (no door sales) and everyone must be seated fifteen (15) minutes prior to performance time, as each show will start precisely on time.
With only 100 seats available per show the Seven Voices shows sell-out fast, so please, do not wait to purchase tickets.
