     No.6 features a 1000 sq. ft., physically variable acoustics tracking room with 14 ft. ceilings and lighting grid, hardwood floors and a large selection of modular gobos. The 800 sq. ft. No.6 Control Room has been designed for both stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound mixing and features a buffered, producer & engineer work space, luxurious secondary seating, a panoramic tracking room view and two adjacent isolation rooms.
     No.6 provides full access to the IMMERSIVE analog and digital gear palette, extensive modern and vintage microphone collection and all IMMERSIVE in-house instruments, including our 7´ Baldwin Artist Grand Piano and Hammond C-3/147 Leslie.

Immersive No.6 has just replaced its DigiDesign 192 I/O converters with Apogee's latest and most advanced conversion systems, the AD-16X and the DA-16X, with X-HD expansion cards. According to studio principal, Joe Shepard, “our new Apogee converters raise our No.6 conversion performance up to the quality standard defined by everything else in the No.6 studio environment.”

The AD & DA-16X with the X-HD expansion cards deliver the most powerful and flexible conversion combination ever available to Immersive clients. All Immersive sessions captured in the No. 6 control room can now leverage:
• Advanced High-Definition Conversion with up to 192k standard sample rates provide unrivaled flexibility and quality.
• Synchronous Switching Power Supply that works in conjunction with Apogee’s very stable, low jitter clock and filtering technology providing superior heat and noise performance, improved transient response and the ideal environment for premium conversion.
• Redesigned Analog Section and premium, contemporary opamps deliver conversion performance never before heard, while maintaining the signature Apogee sound: clear, transparent, focused and punchy.
• C777 Clocking used by Big Ben utilizes an entirely digital process developed with the most advanced Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) technology and DSP-based digital filtering to deliver the most aggressive jitter reduction ever and an astonishing and noticeable difference in sound quality.
• The SoftLimit analog peak limiter “maximizes levels and minimize overs,” enabling the capture of an additional 4-6 dB of level without going into an "over" condition – there is currently no product on the market that handles this process better.
• High Performance Output featuring Apogee’s newly developed electronically balanced line drivers that simulate true transformer behavior. The DA-16X achieves perfect symmetry when used in balanced mode and no increased distortion when used unbalanced.
